Start date: 29 Mar. 1850
End date: 4 Apr. 1850

Notes:
Feenstra Kuiper and Di Felice give +11-5=4 for Löwenthal; Löwenthal (in Fiske) gives +11-5=3; Staunton, in the Illustrated London News (18 May 1850, p.355) gives a partial score before the match was complete of +7-5=4 for Löwenthal; Spinrad gives also +11-7=4 from the Albion of 4 May 1850. I take the result given by Löwenthal himself to be correct. Di Felice has 'Dudley, F.H.'; Fiske (p.534) has 'Mr. E.A. Dudley of Lexington', which is clearly correct.
