| On p.304, Shakhmatniy Listok of Oct. 1863 says only that Petrov and Journoud played one game during Petrov's visit to Paris. Zavatarelli says in his biography of Kolisch that it was won by Petrov, but it is clear from the game score given on pp.312-313 of the same issue that it was a draw. The game is also given in La Nouvelle Régence (Jul. 1863, p.199, presumably printed no earlier than September). |
