Notes: |
This result comes from La Régence (Jun. 1850, v.2, p.173). It is also given by Zagadka Kieseritzky'ego by Lissowski and Macieja (according to Kingston and Russell) as well as Feenstra Kuiper, Golombek, Hooper and Whyld, Alberti and Di Felice. Schulten made frequent visits to Paris and reports in La Régence suggest that he visited at least four times in 1850 (and twice in 1849). The July and Nov.-Dec. visits were later than this report in the June 1850 issue of La Régence, however, so this probably includes results from Jan. to June 1850. The Schachzeitung of May 1850 gives the result of one visit as +8-6=0 for Kieseritzky. |
