| Spinrad givesthe result +0-0=2 and the date as 1854 from the Quarterly for Chess History, but Harrwitz in the British Chess Review of Jun. 1853 gives the two games as played during Szen's recent visit to London, saying they were the only two games Szen played with Boden, so I will guess that they were played in May 1853. |
