| According to the Dec. 1859 (p.327) and May 1860 (p.129) issues of Shakhmatniy Listok (sent to me by Geert Van der Wulp), the match was played in Warsaw and was played from 3 Oct. 1859 to 13 Oct. 1859. Urusov originally claimed that the result was +14-6=1 for Petrov, but this was later corrected to +13-7=1 for Petrov. |
