| The Chess Monthly (UK) of Oct. 1884 (p.37) says that Zukertort first played with Jones at the odds of Pawn and Move, then at Pawn and Two Moves. No result at the former odds is given in the Chess Monthly, but the results of two 5-game matches at the latter odds are given explicitly as +2-2=1 in the first match and +4-1 for Zukertort in the second match. I record a combined score of +6-3=1 for Zukertort. |
