| Gilberg has 'Stanley Jones' of the District of Columbia in 1871. Davies has J. Stanley Jones of Colorado in 1893 as does the Brooklyn Daily Standard-Union of 7 Apr. 1894. The Chess Monthly (UK) of Oct. 1884 (p.37) has 'Stanley J. Jones' of Leadville, Colorado, 'late of Washington, D.C.'. The Brooklyn Daily Standard-Union of 7 Apr. 1894 says that he was born 'about 49 years ago' so in 1844 or 1845. |
