| Urcan has 'P. Koch' in the Cosmopolitan Club Championship of 1898, taken from The Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 17 Jul. 1898 (p.11), but the American Chess Magazine of Aug. 1898 (p.82) has 'W. Koch' there, and in the Nov. 1898 issue (p.210), William Koch is listed as a member of the Cosmopolitan Club. Not to be confused with Walter W. Koch (both appear in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 13 Oct. 1901, Sec.2, p.20). |
