Notes:
According to Steve Mann (personal communication), this is the 'Iles' who played in Class III at Woodhall Spa 1893, since he lived at Louth at the time, only a few miles from Woodhall Spa. Mann also gives date of birth as either 4-04-1836 or 5-05-1836. His surname sometimes appears as 'Isles', as for example in the Westminster Papers of 1 Feb. 1877 (p.181).
