| The Westminster Papers seem to have mixed up the results a little, giving a win to Guilliatt that belonged to Smith, according to the Chess Player's Chronicle. Also, the Westminster Papers have 'T. Hill', while the Chess Player's Chronicle has 'P. Hill'. This match followed a six-a-side match in Hull earlier in the year, tied 6-6, but individual results for that event have not been found. |
