Name: Cohn, Hans |
Also known as: Hans Cohn Silber |
Born: 15 Dec. 1897 |
Died: 5 Nov. 1964 |
|
Notes: |
The 'H. Cohn' who played in Hamburg in 1921 is Hans Cohn, who emigrated from Breslau to settle in Guatemala in 1929. This is indicated by the listing in the Deutsche Schachzeitung of July 1921 (p.160), which lists 'H. Cohn (Breslau)' at Hamburg 1921. He also seems likely to be the 'H. Cohn' at Hastings 1925-1926, as suggerted by the listing 'H. Cohn (Breslau)' in the Chess Annual 1926 of the British Chess Association (p.24). |
