Only partial results available. This was an all-play-all with between 25 and 28 players, and 2 games per pairing in principle, but many games were not played. Total scores for the top 8 players (Mackenzie, Brenzinger, Mason, Delmar, Perrin, Gilberg, White and de Con) are given by van Winsen, but they played different numbers of games and which opponents were actually played by each is not indicated. So I cannot use these totals for rating purposes. However, van Winsen gives a crosstable of results between 9 of the most prominent players (actually he doesn't have individual pairing results in the bottom right corner of this crosstable, amongst the 6th to 9th players, but a plausible crosstable can be constructed and only the totals matter for rating puposes anyway). I am also including in this crosstable the results of other individual pairings where I have the result of both games if both were played, namely Mason-Davis (2-0), Mason-Chadwick (1-0, but only one game was played), Perrin-Chadwick (2-0), Mackenzie-Chadwick (1-0, but only one game played), Gilberg-Wernich (+2-0=1), de Con-Baird (2-0), Brenzinger-Turner (2-0) and Perrin-Burton (1-0, but only one game played). Finally, van Winsen gives a draw Brenzinger-Mason, not in his crosstable, which I include, though draws were not counted in the official score. |
