Event table notes

Event data
Name: Franklin Chess Club - Manhattan Chess Club Match
Place: Philadelphia
Start date: 30 May 1901
End date: 30 May 1901

Notes:
Hilbert and Lahde give the results of 4 of the games, including 'Kemény's defeat of Lipschütz'. However, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 2 June 1901 gives the result of this game as a win for Lipschütz, and gives the game itself. Note that in this report, the results are all described correctly in words, but in the summary list of results below, the pairings Delmar-Bampton, Ettlinger-Robinson and Koehler-Young are not aligned properly (so it appears as Delmar 0, Young 1/2, for example).
