| Notes: |
| Hilbert and Lahde give the results of 4 of the games, including 'Kemény's defeat of Lipschütz'. However, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 2 June 1901 gives the result of this game as a win for Lipschütz, and gives the game itself. Hilbert, in his biography of Kemeny, gives the correct result of the Kemeny-Lipschütz game. Note that in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle report, the results are all described correctly in words, but in the summary list of results below, the pairings Delmar-Bampton, Ettlinger-Robinson and Koehler-Young are not aligned properly (so it appears as Delmar 0, Young 1/2, for example). This has misled Urcan, who gives the incorrect pairings and scores for these players. |
