The American Chess Bulletin of Apr. 1909 (p.88), and the Chess Weekly of 20 Mar. 1909 (p.130) have 'S. Lipschuetz' in this event, and Urcan has 'S. Lipschütz', but he died in 1905. It was his brother, Philip Lipschütz, who played in this event, as indicated by Davies (pp.367, 376).
