Event table notes

Event data
Name: 13th Counties Chess Association Meeting - Class I, Section A
Place: Birmingham
Start date: 30 July 1883
End date: 4 Aug. 1883

Notes:
Di Felice has 'Leather, I.', 'Lee, Francis Joseph' and 'Marriott, Rhodes' at this event, but Forster has 'Leather, Robinson Kay', 'Lee, Henry' and 'Marriott, Arthur Towle'. Di Felice gives a starting date but not an ending date. Forster gives both. Forster indicates that Marriott forfeited his games against Cook and Leather. The biography of Arthur Towle Marriott by Zavatarelli gives only Marriot's games against Fedden, Thorold, and Ranken.
