Event data |
Name: Minnesota State Tournament - Championship |
Place: Minneapolis |
Start date: 22 Feb. 1900 |
End date: 22 Feb. 1900 |
|
Notes: |
This was a four-round event, but not a Swiss-style tournament since the same pairs of players sometimes played each other in multiple rounds. The Saint Paul Globe of 24 Feb. 1900 (p.5) has 'P. Martin' in this event, while the Minneapolis Tribune of 23 Feb. 1900 (p.5) has 'Peter Plantin'. Evidently, Rosen and Plantin did not play their fourth round game. |
