Name: Cosmopolitan Club - Staten Island Club Match |
Place: New York |
Start date: 11 Mar. 1898 |
End date: 11 Mar. 1898 |

Notes: |
The American Chess Magazine of Mar. 1898 (p.576) says that 'A game between Koehler and Hodges in the first round remains unfinished' but then the first round results list their game clearly as a win for Hodges. Perhaps it was adjudicated, or perhaps they were playing a second game that remained unfinished. In any case I use the 1-0 result for Hodges. |
