Biographical data
Name: Paley-Hughes, William Alfred
Born:
Died:

Notes:
Gaige (Chess Tournament Crosstables) has both 'Paley-Hughes', 'Paley Hughes' and 'W.P. Hughes'. Di Felice had 'Hughes, W. Paley'. Sergeant has 'W. Paley-Hughes'. Harding (p.576) has 'Hughes, W. Paley'. He is almost certainly the 'W.A.P. Hugues' who played for Worcestershire in 1900. There was also a 'W.A. Hughes' who played for Dengighshire in 1900 and 1901 who may well have been a different person.
