Is this an error for 'Rowbotham'? Land and Water (14 Jan. 1882), the Nottinghamshire Guardian of 2 Feb. 1883 (p.5), and the Leicestershire Chronicle of 15 Dec. 1883 (p.8) have 'W.B. Robotham'. The Nottinghamshire Guardian of 10 Feb. 1882 (p.4) has 'W.H. Robotham', as does the Chess Player's Chronicle of 8 Feb. 1882 (p.68).
