Notes: |
Gaige and Di Felice have 'J.P. Blank' (but 'E. Blanck' at the Hague 1873); the yearbook of the Nederlandschen Schaakbond for 1873 has 'J.P. Blank' in its membership list (p.4), 'E. Blanck' in the tournament crosstable for the Hague 1873, and 'J.P. Blanck' in all his game scores from the tournament. The Field of 12 Sep. 1874 has 'J.P. Blanck'. The yearbook for 1876 has 'J.P. Blank'. I will guess that the latter is correct. |
