Name: 14th Silesian Chess Union Congress |
Place: Gleiwitz |
Start date: 29 Sep. 1927 |
End date: 4 Oct. 1927 |

Notes: |
Gaige calls this the '14th Schleswig Chess Union Congress' but this is a misreading for 'Schlesien', the German name of Silesia. Di Felice corrects the name to '14th Silesian Chess Federation'. Di Felice has 'Kraemer, Adolf' at this event, but Ralf Binnewirtz, in the Quarterly for Chess History, clarifies that it was Adolf Kramer, originally of Wroclaw, not Adolf Kraemer, the German problematist. |
