The report in the Chess Players' Chronicle of Aug. 1875 (p.311) does not give a score for Murray, though presumably he got less than 4 and at least 2 points, judging by his position in the list, and also says of Halford only that he 'resigned after two games', meaning that he withdrew, but it does not say which opponents he played or the results of those games. |
