Edgar's sketch of the Liverpool Chess Club (1893) lists an 'A. Francis' as a member of the Liverpool Club from 1840? Whyld, Di Felice and Spinrad have 'A.M. Francis' at Manchester 1857. The cover of the Jan. 1854 issue of the Chess Player's Chronicle has 'J. Francis' as Vice-president of the Manchester Athenaeum Club. Are these the same person? There is also an 'A.M. Francis' in Brisbane, Australia, in 1868. Is this the same person?
