Biographical data |
Name: Michael, Abraham |
Born: |
Died: 12 July 1933 |
|
Notes: |
There was also an 'M. Michael' in the Birmingham Chess Club at the same time as Abraham Michael in 1881, but by 1882, Abraham Michael had moved to South Africa, where he won the national championship in 1899. However, in 1888 a handicap tournament at the British Chess Club in London has listed an 'A. Michael'. One supposes that he was back in England temporarily. |
