Biographical data |
Name: Engel, Jindřich |
Born: 21 Mar. 1897 |
Died: 4 May 1953 |
|
Notes: |
Gaige has 'Engel, H.' and 'Engel, J.' in Chess Tournament Crosstables who are both identified as 'Engel, Jindrich' by Di Felice. Biographical information on the Czech player Jindřich Engel from Olimpbase makes it clear that these are the same person. Jindřich is the Czech equivalent of the German name Heinrich, so probably in German sources, he appears as 'H. Engel'. |
