Biographical data Name: Löwe, Edward   Born: 23 Sep. 1794 Died: 25 Feb. 1880   Notes: Gaige gives date of death as 25-02-1880; Sergeant gives 24-02-1880. Kieseritzky mentions a match or matches between 'M. Leade et le capitaine Kennedy' (in La Régence, 1849, v.1, p.43), which must, I suppose refer to the matches between Kennedy and Edward Löwe, not 'Leade'. John Townsend (see CN 11777) found a document saying that Lowe was born 'on or about 10 September 1794'.
